This is a great spot for finding liquor late at night. I love coming here after moving to Hayward from Oakland. This is my new spot.
This store is the lic. They open @ 5 am and they sale bomb tamales, Tacos, etc. If your on that morning hunger or on a thirst come to this place. My man in the store is GREAT. He always have a smile on his face. A Wonderful person.
I was in need of Golden Gate cider for my Thanksgiving dinner recipe. The person on the phone was very helpful, he called me back with his personal number and placed the last 4 pack on hold for me. I don't recall his name, but sincerely appreciate the quick response and service.
Good little spot with big selection of craft beer and liquor! Perfect as there are never any lines as customers are in then out with the quickness.
Always give JJ's Liquors four stars but those tamales they made the cheese couldn't have been real cuz it wasn't melted I mean I don't mind paying the two for $5 for Tamales but at least have the cheese melting in the tamales that's all I ask I'm not one to complain much but if something is wrong you got to call what you call a spade a spade or be fair in life and I'll always given four stars for the people there they're very nice and very hospitable but please melt your cheese before you try to sell cheese tamales have a good day
J & J has some new brews in stock as does BevMo. sometimes cheaper. just been looking at stouts, mildly disappointing to say the least. just my personal taste, i.e adding coffee or chocolate to stout doesn't improve it, brew: "belching beaver" pumpkin spice milk stout (6.99) 5.3% alc. -"cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves,-pumpkin pie' tastes medicinee, probably not a fan of pumplin pie either. drips: -loving the "classic" stouts". hybrids a mixed blessing, not so enjoyable (for me -Anomaly milk stout seems to work.(@Luckyduck.Faction brewery) -trying one at a time..Imperisl stout a true stout...
Top shelf liquor at bottom shelf prices. If people make a place, this place has made my neighborhood feel more like home. Bright lights cast a glow late into the night on this quiet corner of town and this establishment has done much to illuminate the neighborhood with an old fashioned family touch so sorely needed in a world of soulless cookie-cutter shopping plazas and grocery dives. Jag, Jay, and Luis all know your name, face and what you come for. Accordingly, they are always poised to provide their expertise and recommend the perfect new favorite thing of yours. These guys are absolute class and I will always feel indebted to them for not only having boosted the appearance, morale and attitude of our neck of the hood but for always having given me 100% every time I would walk in that door. Not only is it the personal touch that makes such a difference, it is their passion for always wanting to be the best they can be. Honesty. Integrity. Quality. Selection. Value.
